The CMB-SNK was a special unit deployed during the 7 Hour war by the Combine. It is a synthetic unit derived from a snake-like species conquered by the Combine ~500 years before the Resonance Cascade. The CMB-SNK is known for its ability to tunnel through all types of terrain, allowing it to easily sneak up on large groups of enemies, and quickly devour them.

The body is resilient to all types of standard human weaponry and has an incredibly high resistance to explosions. It's only weakness is heat. At a temperature of around 750 degrees celsius, the body slowly begins to liquefy, eventually rendering the CMB-SNK immobile. On the tail end of the snake is a large bulbous appendage with a large opening in it. This appendage is used to dispose of any excess waste.
