Denied [24H/90M] 90 minute day schedules

Suggestion: 24 h in game hours to become 90 real minutes rather than 24 h.

With 90 minute days, lots can be achieved by having daily events which puts a routine to role-play gatherings in a more realistic timescale.

For example, 60 minutes of the day (16 in-game hours) could be spent on a daily ration distribution, work-shift and freetime while the remaining 30 minutes a forced curfew (8 hours in-game hours between 22:00 - 06:00).

Why it would be worth adding: <If we have daily schedules based on a more compact time set, will the average player go through more interactions than drug out throughout an entire real day. Having the perspective of having your character go through more days is more interesting than having to wait real days. >

This would be quite a large change to make, to put it lightly. Especially with our current population, it might not work too well if there is ever the case of the server being inactive. We can't just say that nothing happened for an entire day, you know?
I'll let others put their thoughts into this before coming to a verdict.

Linking IRL time to in-game time is messy and too complicated, leads to confusion and is utterly innecessary, I suggested a way better system to Aspect today but without an in-game time schedule.

It's not too complicated, it turns days into rounds instead, and the entire premise is that every day has 3 gathering opportunitites.

the in-game date is the ooc date for a reason
if we change in-game days to be 90 minutes long, we'll have 16 IC days in 1 OOC day, which will completely mess up our date
not to mention that would mean, for example, congress meetings would happen once about every 224 days

Are congress meetings really worth more to the gameplay more than ordinary day schedules?

The premise is to create 3 points of activity for each ingame day for a 90 minute session. This to make it interesting for the average player.

There is a way to make it "interesting for the average player" without sacrificing what is already there.

For example; if the administration and the heads of each faction knocked their heads together and came up with a schedule when certain things are to happen, the result you're aiming for could be achieved.

This is what I'm talking about. Sounds like the best possible outcome from this suggestion.

the congress meetings were just an example
the point is, messing with the in-game clock could fuck things up ooc
